SquareEnix has stated that the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV will likely need a fairly powerful computer. The Final Fantasy XIV community expects the minimum system requirements to be similar to The Last Remnant, which are as follows:
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (2GHz) \ AMD Athlon X2 (2GHz)
- RAM: 1.5 GB Ram
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 VRAM 256 MB or equivalent
We will have to wait until we hear more from SquareEnix to confirm the information, likely as the beta version of Final Fantasy XIV (PC) begins taking place. As of right now, the most conclusive information on the approaching alpha and beta testing process can be found here.
The Playstation 3 version will most likely require 10GB or more hard drive space. The Xbox 360 version has not yet been confirmed, but would no doubt require the same amount of space.
