Kolossus Haven't been around the forums too much lately. I'm into my 3rd week straight without a day off, 57 hours last week, 60+ this week. But that sweet, sweet time and a half and double time will make the i7 Eyefinity rig in June just that much more dope. Here's to extending the no-days-off streak for mo' money!

You may want to look into the jitter/microstutter issue current gen AMD GPU's are having when they are placed in a crossfire configuration. Just a heads up before you go with your Eyefiniity setup. A lot of people are upset with AMD at the moment over the issue.

I Googled what you were referring to, and found that both Nvidia and AMD are known to have the issue when running SLI/Crossfire. Fortunately, I'd be starting off with a single 7970 Ghz Edition, which is very capable of running an Eyefinity setup on it's own. Hopefully they'll be able to flesh out a fix for these issues, as a lot of gamers have dual/tri/quad GPUs, and I had planned on having a Crossfire setup by the end of the year.

Nvidia has the issue as well but there are multiple v-sync related self fixes that resolve the problem. I can speak on that. Been waiting to see what AMD is going to do since there issue may be hardware related. I'm doing a similar build such as yourself once the Haswell i7's launch. I'm waiting to see if the current Nvidia rumors hold up concerning the GTX 780. Based on the GK110 Titan Core. It's rumored to release this month along side the GTX 770 & 760TI

I'd be very interested in something like that. I'd like to see who is returning, who is starting over from scratch/using their 1.0 character, and where some people are going to be playing. ^^ Whatever happens, you're more than welcome to come along.
