Another one bites the dust. :(

Trion is one of those companies that are running several MMOs simultaneously though whereas SE only have to focus on two, so hopefully that works to their advantage.

I'm happy about it. They pulled in something like $100m their first year. I played Rift hardcore for like 6 months until time just wasn't an option. Had a blast with it.

I enjoyed my time in Rift as well, but didn't feel like paying for it anymore. Going to play again as I still have the game installed come June. :)

F13-2 plays like Dragon Age 2 but better.
Tedious quests that needs to you to go back and forth and dialogue choices!

I think that's where the longing for projects such as RM2k took off. Being able to use today's knowledge to power a game using an older style engine.

I wonder if its even possible to make a rpg that old skoolers will love since the nostalgia is so strong within them. Resonance of Fate I think played like the older rpgs and I thought it was horrendous but it has its small small niche of fans.

Why do people say they hate grinding but they still play mmos? It's like that's a majority of what an mmo is if not the game would end in like a week.
