Hotcakes  I REALLY wish there was a place in the Journal where recipies you've discovered were stored, though. I can't be bothered writing stuff down and outside of guildleves my blacksmith is useless...

It's still a bit more manual than it should be, but it'd do. It'd only work if you could quickly duck in and out of your blog from the main gameplay though.

well from what has been rumoring around that the info in the menus like equipment and such are all stored server side thats why there is a lag and if thats the case then the option to open ur 'online-jornal' would be as fast and easy to get too from the menu. I can only wait and see if its true. and if it works will be an important part of the game for sure

Oh yeh everything goes through the server. Dialogue trees, menu items, attacking, wood chopping, what have you. That's why there's a bigger delay when the server is busy. I guess it's designed to make things complicated for bots probably, but there's so many things that could/should be handled by game code so that mundane tasks don't take 5 minutes to achieve. Then again if SE manage to make the servers respond faster (I see no reason why they shouldn't be 200ms fa...
