    Well, loathed as I am to mention this, this news came as a surprise to me as much as anyone. I've not been informed of this by anyone ahead of time.

    I know that I've not been around as often as anyone would like and I'm it's understandable that people would be upset over that. However, I have been working behind the scene to try to greatly improve this community. (And believe me, Me and Jackel had a lot of vision and we wanted our revitalization to coincide with FFXIV 2.0 Release)

    However, this has been met with a lot of stonewalling due to failing success of FFXIV AND the competition from other fan sites. Admittedly, the official FFXIV Forums made things a bit difficult and we lost a good handful of active users because of this, not to mention past fiasco with some certain former admin. Not even going to go there.


    Anyway, Since I was pretty much robbed of making the formal announcement, I may as well do it later, with some Q/A thread if people want. Short summary is, I'm basically looking into trying to preserve our community and go independent with this site.
