Wow, the Lalafell look a lot more different from Tarutarus than I thought. I miss their short stubby, baby-like bodies from FFXI, but they're still cute. I wonder...was there a reason to make them look taller? I've heard of people saying they had no knees in FFXI, although it is a sure fact they "indeed" did have knees. XD

Videogame store Employee #2: Shhhh! Not so loud or they's gunna hear yah! They'll bite yer kneecaps!

Probably the only reason they were made taller is because all races were given a cosmetic change besides humans in order to be called another race despite that a good chunk of people will call them Tarutaru, Elvaan, Galka, Mithra still.

Note: Why we calling them classes? They are called disciplines. that would fix the confusion with the crafter/gather "Class". Its not a class its a discipline.

I'm glad you solved that. I was pretty confused on how to fight with a fishing pole. ~_~

We were not aware that they were called disciples until a recent information update. Which is why we called them classes and jobs. Though since it has been announced that they are called disciples the community will probably begin calling them that.

they need to put in a Macro system like FFXI so switching jobs can be done in the click of a button, Lets just say i want to inflick Bind on a target, i would then equip my staff and all my MND and enfeebling armour to make my Bind spell more potent. Also they better give us lots of room to put all our weapons and armour, so i don't have to switch to my mules all day.

Arigatou for the info, Gyli. Wow, I can't wait to get my hand on some magicks. Sorcerers all the way. I have to admit that I'm not too keen on illusionists though.

I can't stand how SE trickles information out. I know there is so much more to this game as it' been in development for some times but I suppose I'll have to be patient.

Yeah MMO's are starting to look gorgeous, now that we have such powerful machines at our disposal, higher poly models with insanely detailed normal maps (high polygon version of a character turned into an image and wrapped around a lower polygon character).

Just wait until all this stuff is virtual reality.

the jobs sound like alot of fun and I really like how you are not depending on other players or groups to help you out all the time you can play solo and thats something I really like because I didn't always have the time for PT's so thanks for the info again :).

Ok I am just a bit confused. Now from what I can see we only have 2 classes in each discipline. Nowhere in that did I see a healer or a bard of any kind. Now is a discipline a class as in a job we can play like red mage, white mage, bard etc, or is it a crafting ganre like alchemy, fishing, cooking etc. I really dont see myself getting into a game where you have to choose if you want to just craft or actually go out an dplay together with people.

Can someone explain this to me? So far I cant say I like that system if what is put there is true. Unless I am misunderstanding something.
