The official NA Final Fantasy XIV site has been updated with a plethora of new information and screenshots, though nearly all of it is repeated content from our previous translations done by SteveManly and Aya. For the Square Enix version of the information including full English names of each translated ability, feel free to scout the main FFXIV website at http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com .

If you're wondering exactly what new information was added, here's a quick summary of all the information:

• New screenshots in media
• New information under disciples in the armory system including roles, abilities, weapon skills, arms, and in action categories under each class.
• New battle music has been added onto the site
• RSS Feed now officially says beta test site now open

yeah for some reason I was super excited to see the NA site updated,
then realized I pretty much have already seen everything previously posted on the JPN site..... haha :D

... maybe is just me but on the website all i can find of new is the screen shots, none of the other info is up and still the first *** music.

Same here, all I can find are the new screenshots. None of the information is updated at all, the news feed still says the 23rd of December as well.

Are u guys on the Europe or NA site? BC Europe site still have old music and info as of 3/13/10

had same issue, go to tools and clear all your history including site preferences and it fixed this for me and showed the updates.

Why do they have to do this to me? T_T, I just want to play even more now! I love what they're doing with the ranger class, having to pick what arrow you are going to use depending on the fight sounds really fun.

I love how technical Archer is now, not just stand back and shoot. It seems like you're really going to have to know what you're doing to maximize you're efficiency with the class. I like the part where it says, "The guild's teachings cover a variety of projectile weapons, down to the simplest throwing rock." A variety of weapons eh, as much as SE is hinting at guns I'd be willing to bet later on in the game Archer would able to equip a few. The job ability "Replenish" is interesting as well.

Glad to once again wake up to some good FFXIV news! I'm liking the direction that SE is going with the game. I'm also fairly sure now that I will be playing as a Lancer. :)
