Hey all,

Looking to start a static party on Bahamut. Party will start at 30-31 and we have a WAR and MNK already.
Currently a level 18 27 BST and have been soloing but any one is welcome to level with me .So I turn to the forums. If you're intested just reply on here with your character name or look for Staarkk.

For those that don't know what a static party is...
It's when you find jobs at or around same level and party old school without Level Sync. Play the game how it was originally intended! Learn how to use job properlly which not many people do now-a-days and most importantly (to me atleast) you won't have any skills gimped from GoV.

If I hadn't gotten sick this weekend I may have caught up. I "started over" so to speak with my old bazaar account that had warrior at 10 and everything else at 1. Managed to get my RDM to like 15 or so but the flu took over my soul this weekend and I've not had the energy to even log in again. :(

Sorry to hear that and hopefully you're starting to get well. Double XP weekend was nice.
If you're still up for partying and happen to get on again let me know as I'm still trying to put the party together. It's no rush.
As for now, save your strength for keeping the forums up to date with the latest info. We need you sir!

Hi there. My husband and I were thinking of returning to the game and would love to level old school. I was wondering if you were still looking for members for your static party?

The only problem is though... we're in Europe so our play times may not coincide with yours. We're in GMT+1

I'm still looking to find even one so far! Everyone in my LS does Abbysea, and so do most in general, so it's hard to find people who want to play old school. I reside on the east cost of N.A. so thats what, four or five hour difference?

Hmm... I wonder if we can work this out.

Is it Daylight Savings time? Then it should be 5 hours difference.

We just turned the clocks ahead last night. But I think because of the "+1" they're still five hours ahead.

Hi there^^

I'm really sorry but somehow me and some people got to talking about old school FFXI parties and we ended up making new chars on Lakshmi just for this cause. It actually got a bit out of hand and I'm afraid we'll end up with more than 6 people so multiple static parties will have to be made. We're planning our first get-together this evening (EU time), you're more than happy to join us if you like :) We're mostly EU players but we might have some NA folks joining us as well, but I'm not sure...

Understandable. It makes more sense and is less of a hassle to play woth others in your time zone.

Sorry, I think I didn't quite make myself clear...

I have some chars on Bahamut, but for the sake of our static, I cancelled those and just made a new character on Lakshmi. That is where our static is happening. But atm we have more than 6 people who are willing to static, so we've grown into a small linkshell now and will probably have to make multiple statics so that everyone can play.

Tonight we had our first party in the dunes and we had a blast :D

Most of us can play in the evenings, from about 8 pm til 12 CET.
I think we are 5-6 hours apart from the east coast. So this may indeed be a problem for you :/

Most of us made new chars just for this and I think it was worth it :D

Wish I could join you guys but I'm thinking the time zone situation is too big of a hurdle.
If it were a couple hours difference I think we could have worked something out.

Cheechy, really sorry to hear, but as you said, tihe time difference might be a bit much indeed :( I wish you good luck with finding like-mindedpeople on your server though, we are few, but we're out there! Just got to find them... Maybe try posting on other forums such as Zam.

Mind you, atm we only have 7 or so members, who are almost all from Europe. We are still figuring out our static parties, as right now we have too many people for 1 static, but too few for 2. So for now we're planning our parties day by day.

I want to stress this again: we are Old school LS ONLY. We're really not interested in getting to end game fast. We want to enjoy the journey there as much as possible.
