Fire Emblem: Awakening

I might actually have a reason to play my 3ds that I've been ignoring for a year and a half. Now if only the supplier could have predicted the actual demand of this game right Gamestop and Amazon wouldn't be sold out for the next millennium.


Honestly I never really got into the previous Fire Emblem games, but Atlus had a title I played on the original DS that used the same combat system and it was pretty sleek. Also, it seems like it's especially hard to find good RPGs that aren't remakes of older games these days.

92 on metacritic and a 9.6 on IGN's review. She's calling it "The best thing to hit the 3DS since Super Mario 3D Land". Better keep an eye on this one.

I plan on buying a Wii U this year. I may or may not buy the 3DS. If I do it'll probably be the fire emblem edition. It's purty.

Why can't my PS Vita get some cool games like that :(
Edit: Vita has Persona 4 game but I never tried any Persona games yet are they any good?

Persona 4: The Golden would be my ONLY reason to buy a PSVita.
In other words, if you have a Vita, get P4G. This isn't a suggestion, it is an order.

In regards to Fire Emblem Awakening.. Yaaaaaaaay, finally out. Well, it is still going to take another 2 or 3 weeks before it reaches European shores, as I recall, but I am a patient man.

Will buy Persona 4 Golden today then :) I just read online very good reviews and most are calling it ps vitas game of the year so it's a must buy.

I found recently only Ni no Kuni has whetted my RPG appetite. Too many shooters.

I know the feeling. I'd much rather play games on Fire Emblems level on the PS Vita over the 3ds, but developers have more faith in nintendo than sony at the moment. On the bright side, the Vita does have Gravity Daze and access to a downloadable back log of games as well. I got P3P and Gravity Daze right now for the Vita. The only thing I got for the 3ds at the moment is the Zelda remake and a downloadable title, think it was Shanti.

I like Zelda a lot personally, but find only it is what can fit my gaming appetite on the handheld ATM. Paper Mario was alright but strayed from the brand. Looking forward to fire emblem, Luigi's Mansion and Pokemon with the Kiddies.

Just bought Persona 4 Golden for Vita will play it soon and edit here to let you know how I like it, first time playing persona game except the mmorpg one but that wasn't good.
Update: played about 40 minutes no fighting so far but story is pretty cool and with sound not just reading.
