Hey all, long time reader. Your community seems quite active for an inactive game. That's good to see!

I never joined the fun before because I stick to consoles only as far as gaming. Played a ton of FFXI on PS2, PC and Xbox 360 right up until they upped the cap. I plan on getting a second PS3 so my wife can follow me around and cure me!

One thing I'm thankful for is you v1.0 veterans. You all will be the first(rightfully so) to see, learn and discuss the content of ARR. You guys are gonna do all the dieing so we don't have to, as much. Thanks

I had my wife follow me around in XI so she could heal me (on a second PS2), atleast that was the plan. Work, kids, & misc. other crap got in the way & she only got to the crawlers nest with me. It was great having someone close to you play until you had to make the decision who lived (as a tank) & who died when stuff went wrong & your wife is on the short list. You get to hear about that FOREVER!!! till this day i hear about "letting" her die.

My wife joined me for a few years as well. She'll be doing the same thing in ARR hopefully. At least until she breaks something...

I wish my wife didn't hate video games but then again who would clean the house, cook, take care of the kids? Cause I ain't doing any of those things.

Lol that sounds familiar. We've done Borderlands 2, Dead Island and a few shooters together so I often get blamed for her deaths.

I'm pretty lucky to have her enjoy the same types of games and if worse comes to worse and she doesn't like 14, well I guess I'll dual box both. Attention everyone be nice to me I might have a Power Level for us in week 2! >_<

Another PS3 player! Welcome to the core. Unlike the Marine Corps, you don't have to shave your head. You could though. If you do make sure you photograph it.
