On October 31st, FINAL FANTASY XIV will conduct its final save maintenance and November 11th close servers in anticipation of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn
We've come a long way to this moment, but the new release of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn is nearer each day, and we're here to remind you of the upcoming closure of service for the game as it stands today. Come the end of the day October 31st, all activity for player characters on the current servers for FINAL FANTASY XIV will no longer be saved. Get those last minute levels, quests, and gear hunts done before those final hours before the last maintenance at 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (the game itself will not be available from the hours of 2:00 to 6:00 PM during this maintenance period). Currently subscribed players will still be able to play the game after this period up until the final server hours on November 11th. The "moon" Dalamud grows ever closer to the land of Eorzea. It's ominous presence in the sky has been felt by us all for the last year, and as we inch closer to those final hours, our fears have turned to anticipation for a new visit to the world of Hydaelyn in 2013!
Come join Square Enix Members as we play those final hours with you together in FINAL FANTASY XIV and embrace the heat of Dalamud's decent upon the land.
After the final hours of the game, Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida will join us all once again for a Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IV!
