Yeah, I have been watching the NA and EU, for update.
But it's strange the JP didn't update yet...I was trying to find but nothing in the normal place that should be.

I thought that JP would be the first to be updated, but the NA went first, stange... But thats awesome!

Thanks for the Sharing. :P

Hooray! Something to quench our thirst in this FFXIV drought... :th_086_64color:

They even have weapons! =)

The lantern shield is intriguing. Potentially very powerful tool at a high cost of maintenance. Interesting equipment and I can't wait to see it's lifespan between use and repair between players.

Oh, and "Fisticuffs of Fury"...that's one way to give their nickname..

Also, it seems they are providing each of these classes with some sort throwing tool. I think that in itself is a discussible topic. What types of effects would these have? Damage, ailment, temporary incapacitation?

From the description of the Baghnakhs,...I'm not sure how something that big would be hidden...It's more clunky than a two-handed sword, heh heh.

cool stuff!

Japanese magazines still sell well because they have "exclusive" scoops about games. If they were to update the sites, the magazine sales may fall, so there is probably a deal with the magazines to wait a while before releasing information.

No one buys magazines in America anymore though, so for Square North America, it's GAME ON!

From what I read it seems throwing is definitely getting a more important place this time around^.^;

Awesome... wickedly awesome. xD

Now I have to figure out how to fit in Gladiator into my quest to become a Blacksmithing-Alchemist with Lancer-Samurai-DrakKnight abilities. That second image of the Gladiator does look exciting...literally.

All that's left now is for SE to show us in-game pics of all the cities so that I can know for sure if Girdania is right for me as a starting point... the images of ishgard continue to remain a well-kept mystery.

Thx again for posting these images (two thumbs way up).

Pugilist is looking cooler and cooler. The Baghnakhs are beautiful, especially compared to the FFXI versions. Prettiest ones in FFXI are Shenlong's Baghnakhs, and those aren't even that good looking.

I'd like to see a pair of Baghnakhs in FFXIV with the same color scheme as FFXI's Shenlong Baghnakhs though. I dig the green-jade and gold combo.

Can't wait to see Pugilist's special attacks.

Lantern shield!! Looks amazing this will probably need maintain-ens pretty quickly and what better than being a blacksmith to profit from that :th_055_:

Baghnakhs!! Those are really cool :th_008_: "putting poison" on it seems like we can enhance the weapons with stuff to improve their damage and effects!! Haha i am reaching the max of excitement :th_021_:

Pugilist are looking awesome :th_070_goodjob:

The lantern shield seems interesting to me. from its design it looks like the shield itself can be used as a good weapon and looks like it can also be used to see in the dark :th_051_:

Oh please, melee classes are so much beefier than those scrawny little mages. :th_013_b: :th_013_a:

I would love to see some mage info as well, though.

some interesting things i noticed, sorry if they're redundant, but they;ve been running through my mind and i thought i might as well get it out constructively:

the gladiator description mentioned throwing knives, and for the pugilist it was the chakram, so every class will have a ranged/ammo attack

under the gladius it says 'gladiatorial games', possibly hinting to a ballista-like minigame?

the hawktail is apparently favored among certain members of a 'knighthood'. an advanced class?

the pugilist has a goatee! facial hair options anyone?

under the cesti, it says 'Eorzea's wildly popular death bouts, spectator events pitting pugilists against beasts and fiends of the land.' similar to the monster arena in FFX? except with spectators!

lastly, it says under the baghnakhs that '...they have long been regarded as a weapon of assasins...' maybe an assasin/theif type class can evolve out of use of certain pugilist weapons? like above with the knights being an advanced form of gladiators...

note that besides where i reference directly to the site, everything above is just my own speculation/fangirling xD

all in all, i'm ready for some weapon/armor descriptions under the other classes of war. better yet, mage time!

like a greedy child i am D:

please... please make them more useful than XI's footwork... -_- worst skill ever. I didn't much like how they handled any of mnk's kicking attacks really.
