It's pretty good. There are definitely some bugs and I'm having a hard time getting into the game but it's ok.

now some of the servers are not available in the drop down list anymore... has anyone try to create a character in gysahl after the patch? is the server available already?

Are there problems? Yes.
Does it suck that there are problems? Yes.
Is it ruining the game for me? No.
Can I see past the problems that will definitely get fixed at some point and see the immense potential this game has and will most likely achieve? Yes.

All in all, just give it time.

i like my CE =P even though the cup can't be used for drinking =/ there is a warning on the box and it more or less says "not suitable for holding liquids" lol

I'm glad I got the CE, have started using the journal as a recipe/materials book, using a quill too

I just wish they have given the moogle in the CE and get rid off the Maps and tumbler. don't you agree?

I got the CE yesterday and started playing and I haven't encountered many problems that have frustrated me to be honest.
Not being able to Alt tab without the game closing itself down is a bit annoying, but not nearly something to get me frustrated, as a long time MMO player and after 5 years of playing WoW I've come accustomed to having problems like these with launch whether it be a new game, expansion, or just patch lol.

I was surprised to just see myself be able to download the game and actually play it smoothly on the first day of its (technically) release. I remember when getting WoW expansions the game was unbearable to play because of the lag and I didn't have a single problem with that this time, though I suppose we still have to wait till the standard edition comes out to get a full grasp on that situation. Never the less I was still impressed.

As for problems and bugs go with the game I haven't encountered any I would call a problem yet. The only thing that irks me is the lack of monsters it seems through out the world, but at the same time I suppose that is better than having an abundance on monsters creating a nuisance.

All in all the release was a great day for me and my friend and I am very excited to be going full circle with my friends from being FF11 players, then going to WoW and after a long five years of killing the same dragons over and over again on WoW coming back to a beautiful and exciting new world in FF14!
