i am quite impressed.

they have detailed crafting recipie guides <yes please>

although i must say i was hoping for an early-client to start the patching process. but i suppose the original install has to be there first... wishful thinking.

Interesting...

I wonder why the fee for extra retainer isn't listed?

Also am I to assume that's $10/mo for one character? That's much cheaper than I was thinking! :)

This looks nice so for, not as in depth as a lot of guides that are out now, but a nice basic overview.

Interesting. It looks like they've taken the $12.99 monthly fee and separated the $3.00 character fee, so that you are technically paying for even your first character separately (unlike XI where first character is included in the $12.95). The only real consequence I see is that means if you buy your time in 3 or 6 month blocks, you don't get package pricing on characters, just the service. Wonder if this also means that they can charge us to hold the character even if we cancel the basic service. I highly doubt it, but that would be interesting. (I don't have time to play right now, but don't delete my guy!)

Indeed

Meaning while you can have discount packages for the basic account fee, your initial character fee remains a static 30 day.

This system seems needlessly complicated... Can anyone see a positive in this system?

So technically with this system you can pay a monthly access fee without being able to access the services you are providing a fee for because you aren't providing an additional character fee?
That seems...illegal...
You don't have to agree with my opinion, but that doesn't make me a troll.

The word I was thinking of... Was more "Retarded"

But illegal probably fits too. :th_081_:

Only thing i can imagine is that you can decide which character slot to block. If it's indeed the case, then it's an awesome system. Play one char, get bored, pay for another one next month!

Not a bad idea if it is implemented.
