great job! although it;s mostly opinions, but it was a good read! i love the part where they mention we can create a stand, like a room where we can discuss price,

my thought is, it will be like a small room with a limit of 5 ppl that are the most serious into buying our items

sounds like a good concept, rather than just putting your rare items up for sale with your own-price

I blur out most of the japanese text, so other sites can't take our scans and translate them by themselves and then claim it as their own. It has happened before. Now they actually have to make the effort to go buy the magazine and scan the pages themselves. If they even have that possibility. SteveManly buys the magazines and scans them usually, or Aya. They're awesome.

Its a way to have all the stuff first, than ZAM and other sites. There for this will atract more people. :P

Hmm these made me laugh a bit! XD

Great work, Steve!

Question 6:
Q, Make up some nick names for the 8 races. (this section really plays with the japanese language, so it probably won't matter for english speakers)

Did anyone else notice this? Could it possible be a error in translation cause I hope its not...

But as ever thx Steve :th_070_goodjob:

I really liked what I read about the market system, should be interesting to have to barter and trade for goods! And make it that much harder for rmt to manipulate pricesXD

Nice info seems like they're trying to put out the crafting system or get people aware of it. So these people are already testing the game?!

Spoiler

I believe they refer to each race + male/female counterpart when they say 8 races.

Thanks translators!

Great read. I very much enjoyed it. And some funny moments...

"Q: Describe the FFXIV world poetically! –inoki
A: It’s like a touching a chick that’s just hatched. It feels so light and fluffy."

Before I reached 'hatched'...I totally thought that was going in a different direction...=p

Indeed, thanks to the translators.

I wonder if Mithras will have male counterparts... Any news on that?

ps: I made a #FinalFantasyXIV channel on Quakenet IRC for the people interested.

I would hope it is more of an outdoor experience, where you select a location and a small sign and table pop out in front of you. If you stray too far it disappears, or maybe it stays!? Much like this image. -->>

Can I just state, for the record, that ZAM has never taken any content from FFXIVCore. I personally go out and by each and every magazine used in making our articles, so it's pretty insulting to be the only site named specifically as a possible "content thief" you are trying to stop.

I didn't read it as though anyone has 'named' ZAM? The two posters said "ffxiv related websites" and havent yet edited their posts.

Thanks for the translations! Not quite as exciting content as I was hoping for, but still good!

It was said that blurring the text is a way to have your stuff before ZAM or other sites. So, I just want to cut that off before it grows and say that I never copy from FFXIVCore. Even if it's up first here, I always buy a fresh copy, just like I will for Connect! On.

Mooga was the first to mention you guys with "Its a way to have all the stuff first, than ZAM and other sites. There for this will atract more people. :P"

First of all, English isn't Mooga's first language. You can't really be 100% sure that he's intending to accuse you guys of sniping content.

Additionally, Mooga is hardly a representative of FFXIVcore.com.

Well, if there's content thievery afoot and ZAM's name comes up, I just feel better confirming I'm not part of that before anyone misconstrues this thread. I got to hang out with SteveManly and Aya at TGS and I respect their work. As a professional translator issues like this are important to me.
