Someone has to make a snarky comment about the mouse in a game that can't handle mouse input well :P.

Overpriced. You can get a kb for $5. Also the mouse is low dpi with no programmable keys..

bah the last keyboard i got for $5 was so bad i used it for parts instead... made a good bat for pinata though Posted Image.

heh i got a cheap japanese keyboard for about $10 so $17 isn't too unreasonable. as for the mouse, yeah it is really low dpi...on par with most of the **** you can buy at staples -_-'.

only thing i might be intrested in is that gamepad, i wonder if its any good or not, my cousin is itching to get his PS3 controller back from me =P

I don't get this sort of merchandising at all.. Most of those items look like standard run of the mill products. They bring so little to the table; no functionality and no extra flash either...

Make it spiffy, flashy, something to look at like this. Or at the very least add custom keys! Something.. anything! Promise the mouse won't lag... throw us a bone here...

TBH, I could use all of those things. Especially the speakers.

Why buy that gamepad when you can get a wired 360 controller for $35 or less?

Because it's FFXIV-branded! :D

But really, the D-pad doesn't look like a bucket of suck, which would be worth it for me, plus the familiar Dual Shock layout that a lot of people are accustomed to.

But you can always buy a PS2->USB adapter from Radio Shack for cheaper and use your PS2 controller with FFXIV, so yeah, no point really.

same for me, i prefer "classic" stuff as keyboard, mouse, pad than some of these "for fans" designed products

Am disappointed to be honest, I expected something a little better then a $5 budget keyboard with a key chain mold on it.

And the mouse is like 800dpi my mouse is 5 years old and is 1600dpi it also didn't cost near $50.

The game pad doesn't look to bad it's certainly the best out of the bunch but since I have a PS3/360 controller I wont be rushing to pick one up, not that am even sure if you can buy them in Europe.

I know its kinda off topic.. but accessories i prefer are:

Mouse: Razor Naga $80 Buttons are gewd!
If not this, then something with at least foward/back buttons for web browsing. XD
Posted Image

Gamepad: Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 $40
Posted Image
Speakers: I have 1200watt surround sound i switch from PS3 to PC XD

Keyboard: Logitech G15 Keyboard $100
Sounds EXPENSIVE for a keyboard... but its been well worth it..
Whats really great is.. I have a 6foot usb extension cable in line with this so i can sit in my recliner and relax. On the back of this thing is two USB ports so i can plug up a wired mouse and headset if needed. Long as you dont have anything plugged in that will draw a lot of power, it works quite well.
