Hey guys... I beta tested XI for a bit, then played the retail version; while I was unceremoniously separated from it after only a few months, it looks like I'm going to jump back in XI for the next year or so until XIV comes out, and in the meantime, I'm hoping like everyone else I make it into XIV beta on PS3... although if sacrificing a spot in the beta could mean that XIV would run in 1080p on PS3, I'd do it in a heartbeat!

Anyway, this seems like a nice forum, and I'm glad to be here! It would be great to forge some alliances ahead of the game's debut! :D

When changing a halogen light bulb always wear rubber gloves when handling the new bulb to prevernt oil from your skin making contact with the bulb which will cause the bulb to get hot spots and shortens it's lifespan.

the new interview Stevemanly posted shows Tanaka clearly stating that it will be 720p for PS3. Also, the initial beta will be PC only. :th_071_:

Well, he sounded pretty certain it would be in 720p... but maybe we will get lucky, eh? Either way I'm sure it will be beautiful. It would be nice to be given an option to run it at the higher resolution at a lower frame rate, or somesuch, much as a PC player would have the option to do. :th_070_goodjob:
