Also denote the "/conspiracytheory" and you'll begin to feel the "whooooooooosh" wash over you. It passes fast, so don't panic.

more than likely it will be B tested on PS3, but not initially. PC will get the first crack at B testing according to the interview.

well they have their own translator, let's just call it different angle / translation style
Ah, Corinth over at Eorzepedia!
I think Evic mentioned already that may not be who he was talking about (at least, I hope it wasn't).
I met with Corinth and Elmer at TGS and they are both skilled translators. I hung out mostly with Elmer and didn't get to meet Corinth until the general admission days when everyone was a little distracted, so we didn't get to talk much, but they are fine people. When you're translating the same article, you're going to have a lot of similar matter on your sites. They both really care about the FFXIV community, and I'd rather not start a storm between the sites.
I appreciate the loyalty, as it really helps Aya and me work as hard as we do. However, even if this was not the case in this situation, I'd rather people not post over there saying that they prefer our translation, because that's not really nice.
...this being said, since I'm still trying to get used to my position here at FFXIV (remember, I've only been here about a month), all your encouragement is really helping me out, and posting on HERE that you prefer our translation is a huge ego boost and pushes my competitive spirit to work harder for you guys!
P.S.: Anyone want to go teach preschool students for me today? I'm still a little tired...

We'll be making sure not to providing full scans in our articles in the future, since it's obvious some sites (not pointing fingers at all) might take the scans and translate it 'themselves'. No idea if it has happened, but to take pre-cautions is good. FFXIVCore.com even met up with the zam staff at TGS.
Oh, and our translation staff is fluent in Japanese as well and also lives in Japan.

It's almost genius-like how they can keep things in the middle for such a long time. We actually know nothing about XIV, we can only speculate...
