Combine the edginess of Pink with the socially conscious lyrics of U2, wrap that in a voice that gracefully explodes like Sarah McLaughlin, yet soothes the soul like Sarah Barailles, and that would be the START of describing Susan Calloway…
Susan’s new EP ‘Chasin The Sun,’ has already won 12 Detroit Music Awards, climbed to #37 on the R&R Charts, and is spinning on Top 40, Hot AC, and Pandora radio! Uncommon for a new artist, (but not so uncommon for someone with Susan’s ambition,) she had placed songs on hit TV shows, before even releasing the current EP! Her music appears on “Dawson’s Creek,” “Summerland” and “One Tree Hill.” Chasin The Sun, (the debut EP) was produced by Gerard Smerek, who has mixed, engineered, and produced projects for everyone from soul divas Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin and Donna Summer to R. Kelly and Kid Rock. While Smerek has proven to be an incredible sound board for Calloway, the singer sets herself apart from many artists who call themselves “singer-songwriters” by literally writing everything herself: lyrics, melodies, chord changes, harmonies, bridges and arrangements.
Susan’s graceful yet commanding voice caught the attention of Grammy award winning conductor Arnie Roth, and Final Fantasy Composer Nobuo Uemtasu. Strongly believing her vocals would compliment ‘Distant Worlds,’ she was asked to sing on Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy, her voice beautifully sung “Memoro De La Stona.” It was such a great match that Susan sang with the orchestra on the Distant Worlds Tour, and was asked to sing yet again on Distant Worlds II: Music From Final Fantasy, gracefully performing, “Melodies of Life” and the very popular, “Suteki Da Ne.” Most recently, Susan was chosen to sing the main theme song, “Answers” for the new FFXIV game, bringing an exciting climax to her work so far with the Distant Worlds Final Fantasy project.
Susan posses a great talent, but it is her passion that sets her apart. Believing that embracing the journey is just as exciting as reaching any destination, Susan has been chasing her dreams her whole life. Learning classical piano at age five and taking classical voice from the age of 12, she believed early on that “music is something that chose me more than I chose it.” In grade school, she could sing words she didn’t even know how to say. It is her love of music that has brought her this far, Susan says, “I want my music to contribute to the world in a spiritual, personal way… to help people look at their lives with hope and possibility, no matter what. I want my music to comfort and inspire people ...to encourage them to run hard at their dreams and goals. It’s too easy to be mediocre ... Fusing my life and music to create great lasting art ... that’s what it’s all about for me.”

*The Open Beta Test will be online continuously for 24 hours a day.*Maintenance and any other announcements will be posted accordingly.

Log-in CapacityDuring the initial stages of the beta test, the number of players allowed to be logged in at any given time will be limited, with capacity to gradually increase as adjustments are performed on server load. Should the maximum capacity already be reached when you attempt to log in, a message will appear indicating that the world is currently congested, and you will be asked to try again in a short while. At this time you will be placed on a waiting list in the order of attempted log-in time. To maintain your position on the waiting list, you must initiate the log-in procedure again within ten minutes of your first attempt.
Feedback SubmissionWhile playing, testers who have been asked to submit opinions on anything at all regarding topics such as game balance issues, settings that you may have found difficult to understand, and features that you felt were inconvenient, unintuitive, or required further explanation are asked to use the feedback hread, and for those testers who have been assigned the task of reporting bugs are asked to use the bug report form.

Transferring Character Names to the Official Release
Players will be able to transfer their character names from the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Test to the official release. As long as the Worlds selected in the open beta test and the official release are the same, the character name used in the open beta test will be usable in the official release.
If a different World is selected, the player will be unable to transfer the character name, and possibly unable to create a new character with that name.
Please note that only the character's name can be transferred. Other data such as physical levels and items cannot be transferred.
*Upon the transfer of player character name, both selection of the world and character name input need to be done properly. Please make sure to remember both the world you belonged to and the name of the character you used during the Open Beta Test.
*With the character name that has been determined to be improper by Square Enix, the transfer may not be done.
*After the open beta test has concluded, the character names still existing on the account will be transferrable.
