Hi-lo Core folk from far and wide!!

~Not sure what im gonna write about tonight but i had a bit of free time on my hands so i thought i would write something for you all to read!

hehe, well i thought it might be quite good. or newspapers with the big boss battle times or even highest exp earner of the month lol. If they could intergrate information to do with the server in some sort of online in game publication it would be great..

Or maybe anyone could write a paper, you could have Linkshell news or even leafleats help at a shop to help recruit new members hehe

I thought of a good date to release FFxiv the other day... but then i realised it would only really be good here in England because most other places in the world dont use the same date notation as us.. but anyway here it is.... (fingers crossed it is)

FFXIV Release Date... 20.10.2010, 20th October 2010!!

But in USA it wouldnt really have the same ring to it...

I thought the suggestion by someone eles on the core was really good though, i think it was 10.10.10 which is even sooner and really cool date hehe :th_070_goodjob:

to who ever thought of that one.

The idea of an in-game paper or things alone that line would be awesome, sure I saw some discussion about that *ages* ago on the forum but is definitely something I'd be all over if they released it. All I'd need is a pipe and slippers and we'd be set for a lazy Sunday playing Final Fantasy XIV, spending a lazy Sunday in Eorzea.

20.10.2010 eh? Sounds good to me, and not just because it is a clever date. Greetings from...uh...sunny(?) Scotland.

Thanks for the comment! I didnt know this has been discussed before :( i try not to put up stuff people may have all ready read.

Good old Scotland xD, i hope its sunny during the day at least :)

Unfortunately, an in-game newspaper type thing would go unused by a lot of LSs, so it may not be implemented. A higher chance would be a community website for LSs to post things like that, and would probably give a lot more freedom in terms of space and what could be posted. What would be real nice is if the higher ranking members of a LS could have their screenshots uploaded to the LS community site straight through the game, to post for others to see. That'd be pretty nifty.

That said, even if none of this is implemented, we could always set it up ourselves.
